Hello, everyone! I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this problem. I have a 2001 TL w/ NAV and about 160k miles. I've never had a problem with this car. Last night while I was driving, I noticed that my maintenance light came on momentarily, for about 2 seconds. At the same time, the displays on both my navigation display and my DVD receiver display (I replaced the factory unit with a Pioneer AVH P6800DVD) went dark. After about 2 seconds, the maintenance light went off and the displays came back on. This continued to happen throughout the evening every 3 to 5 minutes. I initially suspected my alternator - the original alternator is still on the car but I was driving with headlights and fog lights on and no other lights, including the dash or instruments lights dimmed. I had no problems and arrived at my destination without incident. I shut the engine off and it started up normally. I haven't driven it since then. Needless to say, I am very concerned about this issue. I have a code reader so later today, I am going to see if the problem registered a code. If anyone can help, I would very much appreciate it!
