Disconnect your battery terminal for about 10 minutes....
Connect the terminal back & restart.
Tell us what happened.

it took a lot of battery to get it started-15 minutes!!! yikes-
that drains battery plus its been sitting so it was already weak

Low voltage causes many false codes

first charge the battery on a battery charger
then you need to reset the ecu by pulling the CLOCK fuse on passenger end of dash
No need to remove battery neg cable as that requires input of radio security code afterwards,,clock fuse is secret backup power to the ecu and forces a reset

you may have moisture in the fuel, add seafoam to tank at 2 oz per gallon of fuel
and drive it

if that doesnt fix it, remove TB and clean IACV on bottem of TB

need to know exactly what the shop did-

while at the parts store ask for a free charging system test
a dead battery can put the hurt on alternator
a weak battery will cause ongoing problems then fail

My 2 cents take it out and get on it for a little while and see if the idle cleans it self up. Sounds like the IACV is sticking from sitting. If it doesnt after a 15-20 min drive take the IACV off the bottom of the TB and clean it. Dont disconnect the battery. Pull the CLock Backup fuse on the passenger side dash fuse panel, it will reset the ECU (note that disconnecting the battery or resetting the ECU you should do a idle learn procedure as stated in your manual)

search `idle relearn` for procedure--not all years require it

did you get the battery charged and taking it for a good drive today.. with seafoam in the gas?
2 oz per gallon of fuel for max cleaning strength to get rid of gummed up whatever in your system

ck tire pressures- sitting a month and ambient temp changes will affect them greatly

I have had this same issue happen to me twice and adding more (different) gas cured it. I chalked it up to a bad batch of gas. Since your car was sitting for a while, I'm guessing the gas is bad or contains water that go in somehow. (keep in mind water sits on the bottom of the tank since gas is lighter than water)

Fill the tank with high-test and see what happens.

Good luck !

how much seafoam to gas did you use?
for problems and cleaning dose its 2 oz per gal of fuel

it may take a few tanks of treated gas to get rid of the prob--
someone the other day idle prob and good gas treatment and drive cleared it
