Well guys i've got a 2002 Acura 3.2TL Type-S. Just turned it on after about a week of sitting there and the idle is bouncing up and down from about 750RPMS up to 2kRPM's. It just bounces up and down while its in park and feels like it keeps wanting to go up and down while i stop at red lights. I've heard it may be the IACV but any other thoughts???

Also does anyone know the part number and where i can get a replacement IACV for my 02' TLS???

 

IAC. Its located on teh bottom of the Throttle Body. Its held on with 2 philips screws.
Just get some carb cleaner remove the iac clean it out. A little wd40 is said to help keep it lubed.

Well, Thanks guys i just got done swapping out my old IAC for a new one i just picked up from the local Acura dealer. $128, and an hour and a half later the problem seems to be gone. Thanks!!!
