I think dealer screwed with my seats
So I took my 02 TL-S into the dealer for an oil change, rotation, package deal for 40$, it a dealer closer to my house, one i have not visited before. I live in Utah and it has been very cold, so i love my seat warmer, I even used it the morning i took it in.
Well, i get the car back and the service guy is giving me the typical, "your car needs, this, this and this." and there at number 2 is a new drivers side seat heater. Sure enough, the thing doesn't work any more!!!!! Well, the bottom of the seat doesn't work, the back does.
It worked when i took it in, and the dealer said that it didn't when they tested it. I think they did something to it. I fought like crazy even going to the owner himself who gave me the service appointment for free! I told him no thanks and that I won't visit there anymore.
My question after my rant, is there any way to get under the seat and see if they pulled some wires, or fuses that they might have pulled? Any help here would be fine.

Yea, it is possible, but not likely that they messed it up. From their perspective, think about how many cars roll thru there per day. Sooner or later they will have a car in their service bay that "breaks" in one way or another. It doesn't happen often, but does happen. Guess what the owner immediately thinks when he picks up the car? My heated seat quit working as well. Its a pretty common problem in our cars. Don't pay the dealer, fix it yourself and save 600 dollars.

Here's a start

I couldn't manage to bend the seatbelt mount like the service bulliten suggests, but I noticed that there was paint scraped off where the seatbelt bolt touches the seat frame. I ended up adding an extra washer to give it some space without touching the frame anymore. I also pulled off the potato chip - like washer on the seat belt bolt. There's a thread about it somewhere if you do a search for seat squeak. I have no noise from my seat now.
