the only way to get the exact reading is this:
from cold, drive 15 minutes on freeway, get off and quickly park in safe level area
put trans in park, turn engine OFF
remove dipstick- wipe clean- insert fully and remove

Fluid level should be BETWEEN the 2 upper dots, NOT AT either one--BETWEEN!!
fluid level on the stick changes with temp--this is the book method to get it where acura wants

there is a lower mark for techs to use at dead cold but not as reliable as drive and ck

hopefully they install the correct amount on new trans but it never hurts to double ck
there have been reports of 1-3qts too many!! it only holds 7.3

So then when I check it after I run on the freeway for 15min it should b between the 2nd dot from the bottom and the dot from the very top?

lets just call them the UPPER 2 DOTs,, and ignore any lower dot

between them at 15 minutes- engine off- = correct level
