well my old bulbs were quite shittay, so i changed em jsut now, took 20 min but 1 weird thing. the passenger side is humming, kinda/sorta loud, but wasnt doing it be4, is it the bulb or ballast? i had it disassembled when i heard it after giving it a test run, and heard the humming. it is seated properly n all, and yea its humming........still glows bright, whats the prob?

try switching the bulbs. If it hums on the other side then it could be the bulb.

well i just quicked searched the forum and one guy gave a basic DIY for it, and he said it will hum, just like i described it.......hopefully its all good....doesnt bother me for now...can someone just confirm that its all good for me ? thx..

btw my old passenger bulb was so destroyed comapred to the driver, i always knew that but thought it was alignment, was in pretty bad shape..

mine hum a too if i listen closely. They hum even louder if i have the covers off.

yea exactly the same situation. i guess its all good in the hood then. wanted to swap bulbs and see if they do it also, buts its such a bitch to get that metal clip around, especially around the passenger side, the fuckin 99's have no room....

yea humming is normal. when my lights are on with the car off i can hear them from out side the car.
