How do you fix the windshield nozzle?

How do I fix the windshield nozzle if the hose somehow got detached? I can't seem to reattach it back it's like it doesn't fit. All I've seen was a blackish tube (probably from old age before it was clear) and a white plastic hose that accepts the tubing. I'm guessing the tube deteriorated and needs to be replace but I'm not too sure.

Any ideas?

I had to replace all my hoses. There was a problem with 99's maybe others in that the tubing deteriorated and started spraying the windshield with sticky gunk that was being released from the hoses. I'd spray the window and then couldn't see anything. I took a piece of the hose to the local Auto parts store and bought enough to replace it all. Just take off the piece and replace it with new. Make sure you buy the same size hose. It's sold by the foot. I read somewhere that at the factory they used some bad windshield washer fluid and it made the hose deteriorate=thus the problem.

well if the barbed part that sticks out from the nozzle is broken then you need a new nozzle. Can you take a pic of your issue

I recently discovered that my passenger windshield washer stopped working. It is not the fuse as the one on the driver side still works, I refilled the reservoir to make sure that it wasnt a shortage of washer fluid. Here is what I discovered.

My TL has a black foam material that sticks to the underside of the hood to conceal the washer fluid hoses. So I managed to pull back some of the foam from right under where the nozzle is and what do you know, the piece of hose that goes connected into the little rubber elbow right before the nozzle mechanism is "disconnected" that is the part that has a white plastic tip inside the rubber hose and it seems to be cracked.

I tested my theory by leaving my hood up and testing the windshield washer, and sure enough the passenger side leaked huge amounts of fluid as it never made it through to the nozzle.

Now I am wondering how I can get this fixed. :-/
