Horrible Squeaking after UR Pulley Install
I just got a set of UR pulleys installed on 2002 TL-S. Everything was fine from last sat until today. I noticed the check engine light was on, and there is a horrible squeaking sound from the pullys or their belts. Any idea on what can cause this, and is it safe to drive back to the shop?

you should be allright to drive it back, you may have a loose belt that's slipping on the pulley. mine does this to when i turn the steering wheel all the way to one side.
just make sure the correct belts were used. and there's no harm in taking it back to the guy and asking him to check it out.

And inquire what torque spec he tightened the crank pulley to!
With a full pulley set- it would be easy for something to be loose or misaligned
Stop turning the power steering to full lock at low speed- that strains the pump big time and the mounting brackets and the belt and.............
