At highway speeds, grabbing for a fraction of moment
I noticed 4 times in 30 minutes, when I was driving at 70 miles, grabbing for a fraction of moment. It became alright the next moment. Engine was warm. No malfunction indicator, no jerk etc.
I was worried and moved to slower lane to move off the road just in case if run in any issue of engine stall. Nothing happended.
After 4 times, I decided to put on cruise control and whether that helped or not, but I was not able to replicate the issue.
Hard to describe the issue but does the symptom make any sense to experts

I've been having the same issue for the past 3 years with 2 different trannys put in. The best way to describe it is getting onto the freeway getting on the left lane and then boom, feels like i just slammed it into Neutral but before I realize wtf is going on it goes back to normal without any hesitation everything happens so quick it lasts for about a second or two max. The most recent time it happened I decided to stick the gas pedal to the floor car revved to redline and then jolted forward kind of like as if i was in neutral and then kicked it into drive. Although I dont have any tranny issues ill leave it as is for now No CEL or anything best thing I could think of would be the torque convertor locking up for a split second. A buddy of mine has the same issue with his 06 Crown Vic he got to the root of it finding a broken air intake shield that was packing snow into the intake but that is the issue for me...
