ok so some jack ass sut me off and hit the right front end damaged my fender. i got it fixed than after that i took it to a car wash. went home and later that day i noticed that the right headlight had moisture in it. but i look carefully and the light dosent look like it is broken or cracked anywhere. but what is really starting to bug me is that when i turn on the headlights after about 5 sec that right headlight stats to change color to a more purple color. what i wana know is that is this happing cuz of the moisture being in there or is the hit going bad. and if it is the hid why not both at the same time are changing color. anyways please help cuz it looks fugly.

 

typically when HID starts to change color is when the bulbs are about to go dead. Try swapping bulbs with the other side and see if the color stays with the bulb or side. If it stays with bulb, then it is about to go. If it stays on the same side, then it is your ballast/ignitor

 

Also you have a moisture leak that you need to address. If you dont fix that you will continue to go thru bulbs

 

Hids are dying maybe cracked because of the moisture. Clear the moisture somehow. are there any holes that moisture can get into?
