I have read several threads on the subject of HID and ballast/inverters, but I am having some additional trouble diagnosing my issues. My drivers side low beam started flickering and then going out and then one day it went completely out. Now my passenger low beam has just stopped with moisture on the inside. Now when I turn my lights on the high beam lights are on but at a reduced intensity/brightness (if I select high beams they are much brighter like they should be). I am looking into a HIDExtra kit to replace ballast and bulbs, but is this really the issue with the high beams always on? Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. Thanks.

 

I was having an issue with my headlight only turning on sometimes and I purchased a new ballast and inverter online and swapped out parts. It turns out the ballast was fine but the cable that leaves the ballast to the light bulb was faulty. I swapped that cable out and now I have an extra replacement ballast
