Hey guys I tried to install my HID kit for my fogs last night and came across an issue. Facing the car, my left side fog light would not work....

I thought maybe bulbs were bad..so I swapped it out with the other side and they turned on...

Then I thought bad ballast..so I swapped that out also and the other one worked fine also.

I then I thought the whole side was just not working even with stock bulbs, so I put stock bulbs in and BAM they worked still.

What do you guys think it is? I put stock bulbs back on and they work just fine on both sides...

I am pretty sure these are just 35w HID kits. Puzzle as to what to do now though..

 

try reversing polarity. ie switch the pos and neg

 

I kinda tried that also. but the it wouldn't go in all the way....if i cut out a small tab then it will go into the HID plug..i guess I will try that...

That can never damage it right? It has some built in switch to prevent it from blowing...
