Hi I have a 99 honda saber/ acura tl. i noticed when i turned on my head lights last nite that the lamp on the right was purple. both headlights are supposed to be a very sharp blue. I am wondering if its the bulb that needs changing or the whole HID set up. Should i replace both bulbs one time if thats the problem??

 

you have HID bulb death warning
they change color to pink or purple at startup --time for new bulbs
you need D2R bulbs ck our sponsors for cheap ones ddmtuning and hidextra.com ~$25 a pair
or kaixen brand are very good and used by many of us ~100 a pair

always replace in pairs as they get the same amount of use

IF you have any moisture issues inside the lens? then its time for a complete kit and get rid of the oe non waterproof parts!

8000k or 10000k?

 

5000k is best to see with, like midday sun, any higher loses white on road to see with

8 or 10k are more purple that you have now! internet pics dont show real colors

4300k is stock color on most cars and the TL, you can get that in a few brands,
5k available from many vendors and makers
these bulbs are not something found at your local parts store- have to order them
