HID clip ... yay or nay?
I replaced my ballast last night...took off bumper and headlight, etc. everything went smoothly until i had to clip the hid light back on.
i don't know if it's just me, but who else feel that the design of the clip to hold the bulb in place is the dumbest thing you've ever seen? why can't they just do a twist-and-lock design? while trying to clip it in place, i broke the small plastic piece that held the clip in place at the top of the screw. once that thing broke, you can't clip it anymore. i had to improvised and put a washer in the top screw to now hold the bulb in place. hopefully it's tight enough where the bulb doesn't bounce around when i hit some bumps.
i was just curious if anyone else had this problem - where that plastic part broke on them? if so, what method did you use to clip the bulb in place?
