HID Ballast cable?
Hi guys. So i bought some headlights to black out myself and clear out the amber with. Turns out when i removed the ballast, there was no cable with plug attached to the ballast. So i have to bake and open the assembly. My dilemna is, will i be able to use the wiring and plug from my old headlights on these new ones? And if so, is it a simple procedure?

are you installing a new hid kit to replace the old technology and problems of the stock system?
its the smart way to go !
www.hidextra.com is a trusted supplier and supporter of azine, call them and mention acurazine for best coupon code 10-15% off the already low price, iirc its 69 now-60 after coupon, for full setup= 2 ballast 2 wiring to bulb and 2 new bulbs- suggest 35 watt ballast- same as stock and 5000k bulbs, 4300 was stock
its not worth trying USED oe parts, still gonna have the original problem
junk the oe and enjoy some reliable technology with your stylin new look

remove cover to your oe ballast- if rusty inside its a problem, then it takes out the ignitor
If you are handy and don't mind popping the nose off a few times, try anything!
are you running wider tires in back- I'm on TEIN SS and found 225/45/18s on my 01 will fit BUT 235 hit the edge of the bumper cover near top of wheel arch, right where it attaches, side edge of tire hits it and break off bits as you go over bumps - requires dremel for clearance
just a heads up for those lowering car
negative camber is a result- up to neg 1.4 - 1.5 degree is fine with little additional tire edge wear, hey high perf car uses up tires faster- surprise!
spec allows neg 1, a little more allows the car to turn in to corners better

Btw, anybody know the name of the black clip with a phillips screw on the bottom of the front fender that the bumper slides in and clips on to? I been looking for the right front one n acura told me it was a spacer. Yet the diagram i saw looked completely different than what i need. My bumper is looking boojie because of this gap.

its a plain ol screw with spring clip- try the local parts store- HELP brand or similar- the counter person will guide you. Might even have a bin drawer with many sizes- common use in body shops
dealer should know which screw! but probably not stock it
