Hesitation/stalling

Hey folks! Wondering if thisever happend to ant of you. After driving my -02 TLS for about 5 min from cold i get a hesitation almost like it's starved of fuel. This happens only after the car is cold driving approx 3-5 min. I have new plug's clean filter and run seafoam now and then. It only does it for a few seconds and that's it no problem after that. Any input would be appreciated.Thank's,formula1

I would replace the plugs to new ones after the seafoam not just seafoam and leave the old plugs in. Make sure the MAF "mass airflow meter" is not malfunctioning as well.

Thank's for your reply. I have a spare set of plug's i use when i do the seafoam cleaning so not shure but i dont think it's the plug's. might it have something to do with the "automatic choke" when that goes off.I dont know to much about that but it's like when the engine going from cold to warm. everytime around 3-5 min. goes away pretty much right away. Not shure how i can check the MAF?.Thank's,F1

My 2000 had a similar issue.......have you tried cleaning the "EGR" passageways ? It helped my TL's runability and gas mileage.

you have to get the specs on it from a fsm"factory service manual" and use a multimeter and test for the ohm rating and see if its within spec, but our cars EGR passage way gets clogged from carbon build up quite often you might want to try cleaning it, and change the spark plugs, theres a DIY on cleaning the EGR port in the DIY section.
