Exclamation Help with finding out whats wrong-alarm

HI,
I just got a 99 TL from a friend. Haven't had too much experience with a TL so here are the symptoms:

1) All except the driver's lock works with the remote control nor the master lock control. (But the passenger side incl. front&back fine when locking with the key on the passenger side)

2) Trunk SOMETIMES works with the remote

3) The lock/arm beep SOMETIMES work

4) When unlocking with the remote, SOMETIMES the car would relock on the first time

Could all these be connected and caused by one bad part? What possible parts do I look into? Or I should just get a after market alarm.....

Make sure your battery is good. Have it tested. Have you tried disconnecting it for a few min.?

Yea I doubt it all went bad separately, as none of those are common problems. It's most likely one or two things causing the problems.

It's weird that stuff works "sometimes." Try to find what conditions make it work, and what doesn't. Or is it just random?

That won't do squat... need tight clean connections to a good (tested if unsure) battery. Does it have removable caps to chk. the fluid level?
