help

hey, im trying to install an amp into my 01 TL. I ran the wires from the trunk thru the inside of the car so far. I wired on the passenger side. Does anyone know a good place to go thru the fire wall on the passenger side? or for that matter, does anyone know an easy way to get thru the firewall at all? (I figured it would be better wiring on the passenger side seeing that is where the fuse box is.)

Also, what are some thoughts on this.....would you rather buy a new head unit and worry about taking apart the whole dash etc...or, would u buy an I-pod and buy the adapter and use the i-pod on the cd auxillary? Right now i am leaning towards the i-pod, because it is easier, its an excuse to buy an i-pod, i dont have to worry about a harness, wires, or adapters to keep my steering wheel buttons operational... but i still dont know which i would want.

you would probably get better responses in the audio video part of the forum.

the best spot to go thru the fire wall is on the drivers side just above the brake. (plus its a closer run for the power wire to the battery.

i personally (and did) would get rid of the factory POS radio and go aftermarket, but to each his own.
