Headlight problems

Hi I am a new owner of a2002 Acura TL and I am having trouble with the drivers side low beam headlight. We have bought new bulbs and a ballast with no luck yet. The bulb was flashing a bit but not anymore. Anyone have any suggestions as what to try next? Thanks
