hey acurazine, My passenger side headlight & high beam stopped working a few months ago. Ive switched bulbs(for the headlight) and that didnt work. Im reluctant to go out an buy a ballast as think this is the problem. what does anybody think about going to a dealer just to find out exactly what is wrong.(I had the same headlight rereplaced Nov'06 @ the dealer when it was under warranty) so im like wtf...?
Does anybody know how much the dealer will charge just to examine the car?

 

Probably their hourly rate~85/hr.
best bet is to just call them.

Call your dealer and explain your issue to them They will be able to tell you what they will charge you to diagnose the issue.

I have a brand new ballast for sale if thats what you need, buying it from me is alot cheaper then getting it anywhere.

 

sorry 2 get back so much later, the dealer charged me $105 tell me what I already

thought was true; need new inverter/ballast.
