Headlight issues

When i turn off my headlights and go to turn them back on after a short time unless i wait about 5 mins only one side turns on this and its not always the same side. Ive tried changing the relays is anyone else familiar with this issue?

Might be the bulbs or ballast? When my bulbs are on their way out, they sometimes fail to light up. Strange that both of yours are doing it, but maybe they are both dying? I'm not an HID expert, maybe someone else can offer more advice.

I would suggest replacing the ballast and igniter on each headlight. I had the same issue happen twice (once on each headlight) within 12 months. Turned out to be a broken igniter with BOTH headlights, and not the ballast. But just to be safe I would change ballast and igniter on each headlight so you don't have to disassemble the front end of the car more than once.

P.S. get yourself some replacement clips for the fenders because you will break a lot of them when you're removing the front end. It will also help with gas mileage making sure all the panels are pinned down properly. Mechanics don't treat your car the same as you would when reassembling it after a repair. If they break a clip they don't replace it.
