Question Head lights - blue tint

Don't know much about cars. Had 1999 Acura TL in bodyshop. They replaced the headlights with Acura HID and ??? bulbs but the original blue tint that was there before is gone. The bodyshop can't figure out why. They've tried different bulbs and still doesn't give off the blue tint. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thank you.

maybe the bulbs that they replaced were either old or maybe they were aftermarket HID bulbs like 6000k or 8000k because the higher in kelvin you go the bluer the tint would be and if the bulbs were old they also have a blue tint to them and when replaced with new acura bulbs which are 4300k they wont seem as blue anymore because they are new bulbs.....so basically the bulbs were either old or they were 6000k or 8000k bulbs hope that helped

Thank you. So I should ask them to replace the bulbs with 6000k or 8000k or just forget about it?

Just a remainder, 6000K & 8000K will give you a "cool" color light, but you will lose the actual light output compare to the stock 4300K.
