I would have posted this in the tranny thread, but it doesn't seem to get much traffic.

Today, Acura is installing a new transmission in my 03 TL-S, with a 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty. My question is this:

Has Acura fixed whatever problem was causing all the transmission failures, or are they still installing the same transmissions that failed?

You should read the trans problem thread. For the most part the newer ones they are installing have a much better success rate
