when i turn left, even if very slightly, i hear this grinding like sound. Not very loud, but minor and annoying. at first i thought it might have been a wheel brushing against the fender but that is not the case. anyone have any ideas? I am going the check the brakes today, as a mechanic advised me it might be the shield brushing against the rotor. Any other things to look at when i take it apart?

 

May be the axle or ball joint .
