Ouch! At least you know who did it and the driver was insured.

I would get multiple quotes.

At least she's admitting that she did it... Unlike my old "lady" who hit me, saw me, then sped off. BTW, what's up with the sock in the 3rd pic, hehe?

~Cheers~

lol he's joking. Its not totaled.

I think you'd probably get the dent dinged out or get a new driver side fender. Since the bumper is poly urethene it can take alot of flex and it might be still usable.

I suggest checking the bolt that attaches the bumper to the car... its located on the bumper, right underneath where the bumper and fender meet. Make sure the hole isn't cracked and if it is, insist on a new bumper.

Looks pretty minor though. Internals and everything else should be ok. How fast was she going? I'd guess maybe... 2-3 mph?

scared me for a minute there lol . i will go check to see if the hole is cracked right now.

i also forgot to mention that when i open and close the door, it scrapes the misplaced fender and scratched the paint off the door in a small, about 1 inch, portion of the door. any suggestions?

Yeah, loosen your fender bolts and push your fender forward, so at least your not messing up your door every time you open it. Just an idea for that part.

Red text= joking.

Bring it in asap for a estimate and inform them that the door is rubbing. Have the body shop have a tech come out and readjust the fender so that it doesnt rub.

well ive taken her to craig's collision center. the lady's insurance is paying for everything including a rental. ive gotten body work done there before. very honest people and the work is guaranteed as long as you own the car. i told them about the scraping on the door, and the bolt hole was indeed cracked so i insisted on a new bumper (thank you BraveDemon).

also...i asked them how much to buff out some scratches all over the car...and they are going to do it for free! pretty sweet deal if i do say so myself.

since im not old enough to get a rental car, my mom got a pt cruiser and i get to drive my moms 2006 volvo s40 t5 for the time being.

thanks for all your help guys. i really appreciate it. ill keep yall posted.
