Front Window Defroster

I bought a '99 TL. Several months ago. Now that it has gotten cold outside I have been using my front window defroster. I took the car in to have it checked because it seems to me that there isn't much air that is being shot out when I have it on full blast! It takes awhile to unfog or heat my front winshield. The dealership said that this was normal for my type of car, and they even checked it against another in the lot.

Does anyone else have this problem or think the defroster doesn't blow out the air at a very high rate of speed? I don't have a problem with the vents in any other capacity. I hear a lot of power and noise when it's on high, but the defroster feature just seems really weak.

Thanks for any input!
