99TL all doors lock but no beep from alarm and no flashing light from drivers door security lite can anyone tell me where to start to ffigure this out..thx

 

dude, like i said, sit inside the car, lock the doors/arm the system. then open the door while its armed. if the alarm goes off, youre good.

if it doesnt go off, check ALL fuses related to anything electronic, which is everything. then make another post about the same thing.

 

hmmm i guess i might have a fuse problem...thanks for the tip

 

I had the same problem once lucky i was still under warranty i took i too the dealer and they fix it, they told me it was the hood latche wasnt grounding to the security system.

 

on my 03 I have to hit the lock button twice to get the beep
