Extra plug

I have a 2000 TL and was doing the typical 3x3 ATF change after I started noticing some shuddering while shifting. Like it was shifting up and down...weird stuff. Anyway, as I was in the process I was inspecting the bay for anything out of the norm.

I noticed there was an extra plug that wasn't plugged up to anything. Was wondering if someone may be able to identify and let me know if it is possibly of some importance. I was thinking it may be for manual tranny?? Any help would be nice!

Mine has that aswell It doesnt seem to be conected to anywhere.

I Also wondered the same thing If you look carefully beneath that plug is another one with the same Size and Shape. It looks like there´s 2 PCM Conectors but one is Just there doint Nothing, Why? Beats Me.

Must be Some Sort of Maintenance Plug to Check Solenoids or Such.

Yeah, I definitely noticed there is another plug like it. Just had me wondering because like you, it doesn't look like it reaches to anything specific.
