Electronical problems

I am having some electrical issues on my 99 TL. Two days ago my car would not start and I needed to be jumped. After being jumped the car ran fine for about 35 miles. After that, while driving I had all my warning lights come on and my gauges started to flicker. Then, I lost power to everything. When I pulled over the car still had enough voltage and amps to run but none of the accessories worked. I placed the car in nuetral and rev'd the engine a bit and the gauges and lights responded. As soon as the car decellerated I lost them again. The car finally died and I was stuck. The battery was 6 years old so I replaced it and also had the alternator tested. The results of the test were good. At an idle the alternator was charging at about a 13.33v average. Under acceleration it went to 14.4v so that was good.

Today at work I checked to see if I was grounding ok and cleaned up the connectors. I then checked to see if I had a power to ground issue and sure enough I do. I disconnected the battery and checked just from the positive cable to ground and I get continuity. Somewhere I have a power to ground issue but I am having no luck. I have tested the alternator and starter and dont have issues there. I also went through and did the same continuity test while disconnecting each relay and fuse in the main box under the hood. I still had the issue. I am at a loss now and can figure out what could be causing this. Any help would be great.

Thanks. I also found out about the ignition switch issue after a little digging. I disconnected it and no longer have the power to ground issue. Wife is on the way with a new one. Hope that does the trick. The switch was pretty pitted.
