electrical question

I was having problems with the small lights fuse blowing out. Well now im being told it is the wiring harness from the fuse box back to the taillights... I dont know what wiring harness he is talking about. He said that there were some wires that were melted together. Please help me find one so that I don't have to get ripped off by some shop... anybody.....

well IF he (the one who is telling you this) is correct it would be the harness that runs down the drivers side of the car to the trunk. You will have to remove the carpet along the floor boards and look and inspect the wiring there along with the carpet in the trunk and inspect the wire there. You may want to take a look at the bulbs in the doors and dome light to see if they are causing your issues.

found out it was the left side wiring harness and the rear taillight harness. one of the wires was wrapped around a wire that it shouldn't have been touching. I need to find these wiring harness's for cheaper than 900 dollars

If you know that much can't you just repair it?

If you found the defects it's probably easier to just repair them rather than replacing the whole harness, and lots cheaper. Unless it has extensive damage.
