Dynamat

Hi I am pushing a w7 in my TL. The problem is that the trunk wont stop rattling I have tried everything.... The entire trunk is dynamated... There must be a way to fix this does anyone have any suggestions??

Install a sub volume knob and turn it down. Music should have a balance between high, mid, and low. You can also try moving the sub so it faces a different direction, like facing up.

My Fix

I cut up and layered a foam matress under my speaker hardly any rattling or vibrating through the car at all....

Work at a Best Buy or Tweeter long enough to get the discount ... or know someone who works at a car stereo install place that will hook you up for cost. Markup on the stuff ~100%.

Yo what do u mean u put it under ur speaker?? did u put it inside the trunk panels??

there are two rubber dampener plugs on underside of the trunk lid...you can unscrew these so there is better contact between the lid and the trunk body. you can send me $5.00 for this..haha

i bought the entire dynomat kit for an entire car on ebay for like $120 shipped to my door, done this twice and no problems
