Happened last summer, was an issue in cold weather.now I use it more. Window goes down fine, but to get it up I have to depress it hard on the back of the burton.sometime I have to wedge a flathead screwdriver behind it so it touches whatever swnsor.is in there. It just feels like a spring is boken.any ideas of what it is, and how can I fix it? -all the YouTube DIY videos talk/explain about window motor. I think I just need to rpeace a spring,I'm going not the while cluster of buttons.

Sounds like you need to replace the switch assembly.
