Drivers seat reclines

Drivers seat reclines
After coming back from a drive and putting the car in park and removing the ignition key, the back of the drivers seat collapsed. That is, the back of the seat quickly reclined until it struck the back seat. I could hear the seat motor whirring as the back was reclining.
I at no time touched the seat controls before or while this was occurring. I was able to get the back of the seat to its upright position by using the seat control.
The identical thing happened about a year ago.
When I went to my mechanic about this problem he said that there may be some moisture in the seats motor or electrical parts. He said if it occurred again he could disconnect the seats motor.
Any suggestions? Has anyone heard about this problem before? This is a 1999 model.
Thanks

Mine did that recently,
the seatbelt had hooked around the seat adjust lever and as I went to get out, the seatback motored down as requested
Moisture- some people lack plausible explanations
