Unhappy Door Panel Problem

Hey, I just got my TL, and when i got it home, i noticed that the door panels are falling off. Is this a common problem? and can it be fixed?

Here's a picture of it:

and here's the other side: looks like i can fall off anytime too.

you have a few options. Buy a new door panel or take the door panel off and try different glues. Theas what other members have done. some have said gluing them worked

Are there instructions on taking apart the door? like where the screws are at and such? I dont want to break anything taking the car door apart incorrectly

My car had that problem. Taking off the entire door panel was too much trouble for me so I just glued it back on with some superglue and clamps.

One thing to check: On my car I found that the screw holding the door panel in under the hand grip area was missing. The other side door which was still in good shape had a screw so I took that one out and used it as a guide to buy a new screw for the broken side. Then I screwed both back in and glued the part that was spliting.

Too much trouble its a 1 min job. Very easy

screw in the door handle, then slide and pull on the door handle trim ring and remove. then 1 screw in the arm rest area. then is just held on by clips. start on bottom pull out then lift up and off. unplug the harness and off you have it

Damn it why didn' t you tell me earlier?

Actually I tried finding the screws and after removing the first couldn't figure out what to do next.

Oh well, got it fixed anyway.

Damn I thought that pic was of my car until I saw your hand. I posted a similar thread a month or so ago, as I have the same problem. My lazy ass hasn't done anything about it yet either.
