Does 99 acura tl have a "tcm" transmission controle module

does 99 acura tl have a tcm or any kind of transmission computer? i was told by a friend that they do and the go bad all the time

Its built into the ECU, and no they dont go bad all the time. What DOES go bad all the time is the transmission.
