Dash Gauge Fuse Blows when Car is Hot???

Does anyone have any experience with the 7.5A dash gauge fuse blowing if their 02 TL sits in the hot sun all day? For the past few weeks, whenever my car sits out at work on a really hot day, the dash gage fuse blows as soon as I pull out of the parking lot in the evening. If I try and replace the fuse immediately it will pop as soon as I turn the key. The only thing that seems to work is to drive the car for about 10 miles and then it seems to accept a new fuse without any issues. This is a real problem because without this fuse I have no gauges and the transmission will not go past second. Additionally once the new fuse is installed the engine and SRS lights are on. I took my car to the dealer but they couldn't find a problem and charged me 85 bucks to do nothing more than reset the lights! I am going to demand further assistance from Acura, but I thought I might see if anyone can help here. Thanks in advance for any thoughts you guys might have.

that's wierd but i see that sort of thing all the time in my line of business (i work in power generation). something heats up, resistance changes, fuses blow, it cools down, bla bla.

definitely press acura for some more assistance. make it clear that something is wrong and they just didn't look for it hard enough. i've had the same problem where i had broken pillow mounts and the dealership insisted it was fine. don't put up with it.

Thanks for the encouragement Bob. I am taking the car in tomorrow and will follow up with the outcome.

After three weeks, two trips to the dealer, and a dealer conference call with Acura engineers, they finally traced the issue back to a bad shift interlock solenoid. With the replacement part installed I have had no further issues. This one really stumped the shop guys, and it took them a full week of working on the issue to figure it out.
