ohh now I see why keg posted to the 2006 thread on same subject!!
if you replace a coil do an ECU reset by removing the CLOCK fuse- end of dash- passenger side,,for a minute
thats the secret backup power to the ecu, clears all codes and forces a systems test
so it sees if the problem is fixed
its often the coil the ecu thinks is bad, but it may also spit multi-cyl misfire codes when only 1 coil is bad
How old are the spark plugs? the correct NGK.. not some dbl platinum whatevers..

will do on the reset. don't know how old the plugs are, at least 50k. But I'm changing them since I'll be in there. Hope to do so between church and the Super Bowl. Will let ya know how it goes.

reminder: use ONLY NGK Iridium IX or NGK Iridium (plain),,
last choice NGK Platinum --single electrode (stock gen2 plug) they cost more than irids and wear out faster
irids are gen3 stock plug and fine for us
correct plug part number for type S or P engine/car is found in many places here on azine

dont install the new plugs in hot engine,,even warm temp screws with the new
plug torque, and can result in loose plugs,,or tight!
a small dab of plug anti sieze on the threads makes install easy
I like to use vac tubing on top of plug to lower it into the hole and start with fingertip control and feel--avoids cross-threading

just ckin~
for the newer members- you reset the ecu to clear codes and force a system self-test, so it knows its been repaired
