Code Po132 Please Help

Ok I wrote a little while ago about a slight hesitation at low RPM's. Now it almost falls on its face. It only does it sometimes, but more often now. So i bought one of those OBD 2 scanners and the code its throwing off is PO132 O2 SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH VOLTAGE (BANK 1 SENSOR 1). What the hell does that mean? Please someone tell me what it is and if its bad, thanks.

you have your cat gutted. It most likely caused your O2 sensor to get fried.

Yeah but which sensor? Not the one thats on the cat, that has nothing to do with that code. That throws a different code po401.

Its the front sensor O2. Those things are VERY sensitive and damage easily. If your car was running rich or lean due to not having a cat (which it probably was) it probably fried the sensor which is causing the ECU to go nuts because of the wrong signals its getting

You are definitely right. I jacked my car up lastnight and inspected the front o2 sensor and when I installed the XS headers with the downpipe it looked like the wires were very twisted up when I screwed that sensor on. So I rescrewed it on there making sure the wires werent twisted and guess what.....................My car runs perfectly fine with no more hesitations. Damn, I guess they are extremely sensitive. I appreciate it very much man, thanks a whole lot now I can go back to beating the hell out of my car.
