Changing Transmission Fluid InstructionJ

Just purchased a box of Honda ATF-Z1 and I'm ready to do this 3x3 transmission fluid method. I need some guidance. I have knowledge of change engine oil so I hope this ain't too bad. Where should I start. How many bolts do I have to drain? Can anyone give me a brief instruction or detailed instructions w/ pics would be greatly appreciated.

drive 15 minutes to warm fluid
put car on ramps
remove drain bolt marked ATF on driver side of engine, under the trans
drain 3 qts- thats all it will give up at a time
refill via large bolt marked ATF on driver side top of trans, or use the dipstick tip if needed
drive 5 minutes
Drain-refill
repeat 3 times

Thanks for the reply.

So...there is only ONE plug to drain....according to what you guys stated? When you refill...can you refill through the dipstick pipe or you have to do it through the ATF bolt?

Thru the ATF filler bolt. If you have teh oiljet you just remove the bolt that holds the jet and pull it straight up. You cant hurt it or install it wrong.

Either hole will work, whatever you feel comfortable with. Do one drain and refill, then drive; then do it 2 more times like that.

After that, do 1 drain and refill every 10k, better than waiting for 30k and do 3x3.
