Changing ignition switch

What's up fellas, going to be changing my ignition switch this weekend since the car keeps cutting off even when I'm driving at times and I do not think this is safe, I am going to start with this since it appears to more than likely be the issue. Now I saw the D.I.Y on the site, is it pretty straight forward? The first one was changed by Acura under the recall, just want to know if it's worth doing it myself, also should the ignition swtich cost around $55? Is it just a wire that plugs in, as indicated on the D.I.Y? Thanks!

Cool, and it is that plug-n-play wire that cost around $55, correct

Yes and the part number is on the DIY or you can just ask the people at the parts store. It took me less than 10 minutes.
