Changing headlight

hey fam wuts good....man my headlight went out...and their telling me the only way to change is through the dealership...like i dont kno thats a freakin lie..but i kno u gotta have somthn to get to it, some kinda wrench...nebody kno where i can get that or wut it is....holla

well it sounds like you have not searched OR looked at your car and attempted to figgure it out yet. . . .


YES you can indeed change the headlight yourself, Its actually not hard at all if you have any mechanical ability.

yes you will need some kinda wrench, a few of them to be exact! all the tool's needed can be purchaed at any store that sells tools. . . Sears/Walmart/ughhh?/Snap-On

The only real tool you need is a Security Torx. You can get them at any store that sells tools. Follow the link in the post above for how to.

Oh, and ALWAYS replace headlights (especially HIDs) in PAIRS.

there are 2 screws (Philips head) 1 on each corner,

3 pop clips when you open your hood on top,

4 bolts underneath on the splash guards,

4 more pop clips under the bumper,

start at one side and pull like the dickens and it will pop right off, being careful not to destroy your lip or paint if applicable.
