OK, so this is the problem. like 4 months my engine caught fire and i gave my car to fix. The people bought a salvage acura tl-s 2003. to change the engine and everything. But than they told me they cant put the 2003 s-type engine because it wont FIT into the frame. They trying to play me becuase first they said they can fit that engine in with no problem. They changed the harness and everything but the engine. Its like everything is new but the motor. they took 3000$ from me already for that. Including paint for both front fendors and the hood and the right side head light. Is this alot of money for that. Because they asking for 2000 more.

There is no difference in engine size from the tl-p to tl-s.. who ever told you that is full of shit!!!
I stuck one in my 2000 Tl-P and its a direct bolt in. there is a little different wiring but not much. Your getting shafted and you need to say something about it, and tell them the regular tl shares blocks withthe TL-S

 

Thanx for letting me know. I have tell him that cause he told me he cant put the motor in but he replaced everything else he could from TL 2002 to TL-S... i have a question, Will that give me any gain of HP by replacing s type engine parts but not the motor?
