Well if you have the radio code... I'd suggest unplugging the battery for a few minutes to try and reset it. Other than that, I doubt there would be a separate fuse for the CD player... there should be one for the HU itself, but if the radio is working, then it should be fine. Perhaps you have a jammed disc? I had the the first day I had my 99 TL. I had a friend of mine who worked at an acura shop, and he took another CD and managed to jimmy the stuck one out of there. Worked fine after that. Any other input?

Well that was the first thing i did but it actually went opposite cuz i had only 2 cds in the changer and after unplugging the battery it's showing that i have all 6 in there and still showing tht error, so that didn't really help anyway thanx for the input, gotta see a dealer tomorrow.

I say just look for a new one on ebay. They run for about $200 - $300 if im correct. If not, if you know a little about electronics, i suggest opening it up and removing the cds out yourself.

quirky cd player

I have an 03 Agean Blue Pearl TL-S. My CD player frequently jams up. When I try and change CD's (one's that are alreay loaded), I get an error code...I think it's ER-E1, and it won't load, play, or do anything. This may sound silly, but after pushing the CD button, quickly press the CD slot door with your little finger to wiggle it while the message is on the unit.... it may take a few times but it always works for me. I had been told this from this forum. The head units are known to jam up like this......it sucks. Good luck

i just punched the player a few times and it decided to cooperate with me....its jamed up a few times on me and this seems to work. hit it a few times right above the slot, dont hit it too hard or the cd jamming will be the least of ur problems
