Well it just started this morning. As soon as I turned on my car I hear this loud whine, as if a dog was crying. It goes away when I press the gas, but when stopped or at idle, it continues to make this noise which is coming from the engine bay. I can't quite figure out where in the engine though...

Any ideas?

P.S. - I just had this serviced at the dealer and I just changed the spark plugs 2 days ago if that makes any difference.

 

So it sounds like it's coming from the Alternator, but not postive. At least from the left side of the engine...

It's annoying loud!

 

mine does that and its not the alternator its the ac clutch which can be replace if you dont want to replace the compressor
