Ok so this morning i took my car to Hibdons Tires for them to check out my passenger side wheel they found a nail in it and patched it. I was leaving Hibdons and was at a red light then all of a sudden my friend says dude why is that car smoking and i said that my car dumbass. I pullover and then pop the hood. Smoke cloud came up out. Everything udr the hood look like it had just been amoralled and evrything was shiny. It smelled bad. The smoke wasnt coming from the top of the hood area but i could see it coming from the bottom and rising up going out the hood. I took it back to Hibdons and I told them hey my car is smoking. They said "It must have been something you did." then i said "Well it wasnt smoking when i brought it over here". The manager looked at it and said "Well im not sure what wrong, I cant do anything". What do you guys think it is? Im going to the dealership for some Customer appreciation service deal they got goin on tommorrow for $50 bucks so ill ask them about it. I just want to have an idea.


Oh yeah i checked to make sure everything had there cap and they all did. The oil was still full, power streering still good and brake fluid was good and a couple other thing i wasnt sure was still good on fluid and hap caps. I had the car parked for about 3 hours earlier today and didnt see anything that leaked on the pavement when i moved it back.

 

over heated? check your coolant level.

 

wow im at the dealersip getting service on my car im supposed to get new wipers included in the service and they come out and tell me "We cant give you new wipers because the ones you have on are aftermarket wipers and we dont know how to take those kind of wipers off". I could get employees at autozone or oreillys to get some new ones and install them for me. Fuck you Bob Howard Acura!

 

that just sucks. hows ur coolant. did the temp gauge go to hot when u saw the smoke?

 

Why are you concerned about wipers if the car is smoking that badly?-

What kind of 'smoke'- actual smoke, or steam, or ?

Just replace the wipers yourself & save $-
