ya i just started my car today notice that my car was making funky noises in the engine, engine light is on. and when i drive it makes a rumbling noise from the engine. i got it checkout and i got 8 codes:

what does that mean? help ME PLEASE NE ONE
they said it could be my ignition coil is that true.
give me some feed back ppl

 

It would really help to know what year car you are driving and the mileage

Coil Packs do fail on our TLs and will send a multiple code like that

Best thing to do is buy 1 since they are $$ and just keep moving to each spark plug position till the car runs right.
Its running on 5 cylinders now- or less

the P01 thru 06 is cyl 1-6 misfire 1399 is a random multiple misfire code, could be ignition coil

just like to say thanks to everybody for there feedback and yes it was the coil pack.

 

how do you change the coil packs? and how much does it cost?

 

it is quite simple, its the thing that holds ur spark plugs the black bar. just remove it and then replace it. which ever one is broken. it cost around 50 to 60 dollars. hope that helps u. tell me how it goes when u do it.

 

Wow..50-60 for each coil pack? thats pretty expensive where can i pick them up at?

 

ya its a bit pricy but well worth it....well it might be cheaper for u since u r located in the states im in canada. u can pick it up at ne acura dealer ship. u can also try honda too
