Ive been hearing this buzzing sound a lot lately in my front engine compartment. This only happens when the car is stopped and i lightly push on the gas. I believe the sound is coming from the diver side, altough i could be wrong. Anyone know what this is coming from? Possibly a pump that is going bad?

 

have someone lightly push on gas while you listen under hood??? see if you can narrow it down to where about?

 

do you have an aftermarket system......

 

just a small one..HU/AMP/COMP speakers, but i doubt it has any affect on what is causing the sound.


i will try to narrow it down tonight if possible..but i guess it happens when i step on the gas a little to fast after braking..

 

well i tried to narrow it down and it seems to be coming from the driver side near the firewall..its coming from what i assume is a pump of some sort..


oh..and when it happens, the [!] light comes on for an instant.
