it feels like the actual switch handle has come free. if i jiggle it around it will lock and unlock every so often. it will lock from the driver's side switch every time. has anyone seen how it is connected? would it be a difficult fix? will the panel pop off easy? thanks for any help.

 

what switch? the electrical switch for the door locks?

You will have to pop the door panel off to get to it. Its just a matter of removing a few screws pulling the door panel out to loosen it from the clips and lift up

Should run you about $15 at the dealer.

 

yup. i think that's it. feels like it clasps onto a rod and one side of the clasp has snapped

on a side note, any idea how much the pin switch for the driver's door would run?
