Brake Lamp Malfunctioning
Did a search already on brake lamp indicator and didn't find the answer that I want. So I will go ahead and describe the problem that I'm having.
So I changed to LED light bulbs for a few months and the brake lamp was always on. I had my friend to check and all lights worked and so I didn't really care. Then yesterday I had a friend who was following me and he said that my brake lights were not very bright, so for safety reason I decided to change the LED lights back to original OEM bulbs. However, the brake lamp indicator still comes on now. I wanted to see which bulb is faulty by turning on the parking lights (not sure if that's the right term), and all four brake lights and the two 3rd brake lights are working perfectly. Then I turned off the parking lights, placed something heavy on the brake pedal to activate the lights, and to my surprise, the left brake light didn't come on.
So in summary, when turning on parking lights, ALL lights work, when braking, the left most bulb doesn't work, and I'm pretty sure that's why the brake lamp indicator keeps coming on. Why is this happening? Does it have something to do with the wiring? How do I fix it?
Also, another problem that I'm having (and a very stupid one...) is that when I was taking out one of the LED bulbs, I accidently dropped it inside the brake light assembly and I can't seem to get it out...any ideas on how I can get it back out?
Thanks.
