Blower won't stop - Blower won't turn on - A/C Heater
I saw posts that helped diagnos my problem for 04+ TL's but not 03 second gen.
First I previously had no blower - all the gauges worked just no air. This is a short/burn in the wiring harness to the Blower motor resistor or transistor as Acura/Honda parts lists it.
A year after repairing the above the blower would not turn off high and no A/C. This is a very easy, cheap, quick fix. The part is $25 and it sits under teh glove box on the roof against the footwall. It is a white plate with a plug in it. Two screws hold it to the roof.
In later TL's you have to take out the glove box to get at it but in gen2 it is exposed.
I talked to my mechanic and the dealer - these are very common problems in all 2nd and 3rd gen TL's. To fix #1 you need to replace teh blower wire harness - i chose to have my mechanic do that after I had tried replacing the resistor - which did not fix the problem. so whe the resistor finally craped out and the blower motor would not tuen off the high setting i popped the new resistor in that I had purchased the year before and Im back up and runnig with A/C and all fan settings.
I hope this helps
